Essential Digital Skills Entry 3 & Level 1
This qualification suite is designed to enable learners to become confident in using the computer to process information and produce documents for personal and professional use. It is to also support the development of key digital skills such as using devices, creating, and editing digital media, using technology to communicate, transacting online, and how to stay safe and secure when using technology.
Course Details
What do I need?
There is a minimum requirement of Entry 2 English to be eligible for the course. Support will be given to all learners both onsite and remotely via email. An online platform will be provided to study the content, along with the support of a tutor during sessions in Learning Centre. Initial assessment and diagnostic tests will be available when enrolling.
Where can it take me?
An industry-recognised NCFE certificate will be issued on successful completion of your course. Entry 3 learners can move on to Digital Skills level 1, and there is the option to continue learning at higher levels upon completion of Essential Digital Skills Level 1.

Our Essential Digital Skills qualifications are available at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.
Assessment method
There will be weekly knowledge checks and Workbook assignments. The final week will consist of a Mock test, upon successfully passing the Mock test you will be eligible to sit the Controlled Assessment.
How will I learn?
You’ll enroll for your qualification through our training centre (meaning you get face-to-face support from our friendly staff). Learning is delivered at the Learning Centre via classroom learning. There is the option to do additional learning at the Learning Centre or at home via the learning portal. During your learning, you’ll have regular progress reviews with your tutor at our centre to make sure you’re on track with your learning.
How long will it take me?
The programme is delivered over 4 weeks; additional time can be allocated for learners who require extra support.
