Course Overview

This instructor-led course provides students with the skills and knowledge to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure. Students can gain knowledge and expertise which can help them to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources and security, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 environment. This course covers the core skills required by anyone working with Windows Server 2008 Servers.

On completion of this course, students will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to attempt: Exam 70-642: TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring When you pass Exam 70-642, you complete the requirement for the following Certification:

• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, ConfiguringExam 70-642 also counts as credit toward the following Certifications:
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator

Enterkey Training provides the facility of online testing through Thomson's Prometric Testing. In addition, at Enterkey Training you will also be benefited from actual networks scenarios currently deployed in the industry.

What Are The Entry Requirements?

• Students should have Reading Age Level (RAL) of 13.
• Prior experience with Windows Server 2000 or 2003 desired but not required.

A textbook and Lab manual will be provided.

Course Duration

The course will be held on every Saturday or Sunday and will complete in 6 to 8 weeks. Every session will last for 5 hours including 2.5 hours of theory and 1.5 hours for labs with flexible breaks. Extra time will be given to students willing to practice on lab equipment.

How Much The Course Will Cost?

The fee for this course is £675. You must be able to pay the full fee before the start of the course. However, students enrolling for more than one course may arrange payment by instalments with our finance department.
